March 19
March 19 collects short history notes for families. The years on this page include 1601, 1641, 1277. Violent events and crimes are left off. Each line is a small true thing to ask about, not a whole lesson. February 29 is included so a leap-day birthday still has a page. Walk with the previous and next links, or open the March hub for the rest of the month.
- In 1601, Alonso Cano was born. Alonso became known as spanish painter, sculptor, and architect.
- In 1641, Abd al-Ghani al-Nabulsi was born. Abd became known as syrian author and scholar.
- In 1277, the Byzantine–Venetian treaty of 1277 is concluded, stipulating a two-year truce and renewing Venetian commercial privileges in the Byzantine Empire.
