How to play Isleborn Kingdoms
Isleborn Kingdoms is a turn-based strategy game. Every realm is a new generated island of meadows, forests, hills, mountains, rivers and roads under fog of war. Capture every rival castle to win. Every 10th realm holds a boss stronghold, and realm 60 is the final battle for the whole island.
Tap a flashing land to see its guards and your win chance. Spearmen beat Riders, Riders beat Archers and Archers beat Spearmen. Catapults cut the bonus that castles, hills, mountains, rivers and narrow choke points give defenders, but Riders on guard blunt them.
You earn gold, food, wood and stone each turn. Upgrade six base buildings, and research nine permanent techs in three branches: Military, Economy and Statecraft. Pick a hero to lead your army. Captain Rowan, Ranger Lyra and Warden Bram each have a passive bonus and a skill (Rally, Volley or Fortify) and level up as you win.
Use Diplomacy to buy a truce or an alliance with one clan while you fight another. Allies send troops each turn, but you cannot attack them, and stronghold lords never make peace. When you press End turn, clans grow and attack weak borders. Play the daily challenge island (the same for everyone), chase a Conquest high score, earn banners and castle skins, and collect idle income when you come back. Progress saves on this device.

Yes. It runs in your browser on phones, tablets and computers, with no download, no account and nothing to buy.
How do troop counters work?
Spearmen beat Riders, Riders beat Archers and Archers beat Spearmen: +50% against the type you beat, −30% against the type that beats you. Catapults reduce the defender's terrain and wall bonus, and Riders guarding a land halve their effect.
What do research and heroes do?
Research gives permanent bonuses such as +10% attack, Shield Wall, Siege Craft, Trade Roads, wider vision and cheaper diplomacy. Heroes add a passive bonus and one skill per realm (two with the Legends tech), and they level up with every 5 victories.
How many levels are there and is there an ending?
There are 60 realms with a boss stronghold every 10th realm. Beating the Obsidian King in realm 60 unites Isleborn and ends the campaign. Endless realms continue after that. Diplomacy lets you buy truces and alliances, except with the last clan or a stronghold lord.
What other modes are there?
There are six worlds, each with its own look, music, clans and twist (sandstorms, deep snow, eruptions, sky bridges and shadow). A weekly event asks you to survive 7 days against a named boss. Daily challenge gives everyone the same island each day, and you can share how many turns you needed. Conquest is an endless run of harder islands with a personal-best board. Random events, idle income while you are away, a reward chest every 8 wins and earned banners and castle skins (never sold) keep each session different.
Is it safe for kids and who made the art?
Yes. There is no chat or online play, and progress stays in your browser. Castles, houses, soldiers, trees and hero portraits come from the free CC0 Kenney Medieval RTS, Toon Characters and UI packs (kenney.nl), and the sounds are made with the Web Audio API. Every asset is free to use and credited.
