Arsenal Come Back to Beat Leeds 2-1

In brief
Arsenal beat Leeds United 2-1 on Saturday after trailing early in the second half, climbing level with Manchester City at the top of the Premier League. Riccardo Calafiori equalised and substitute Bruno Guimarães, a summer signing from Newcastle, scored the winner.
According to Al Jazeera, Leeds took the lead in the 55th minute through Justin after a well-worked move down the left. Calafiori levelled seven minutes later from a Ben White setup, and Guimarães — signed from Newcastle United in the summer — finished a team move involving Bukayo Saka, Martin Ødegaard and Declan Rice. BBC Sport and Arsenal.com also name James Justin as the Leeds scorer.
The result gave Mikel Arteta’s side five wins from six league games and 15 points, behind City only on goal difference. City, who have a game in hand, face Liverpool on Sunday after being found guilty of more than 100 breaches of Premier League financial rules.
Leeds stayed organised for long spells and forced David Raya into action, but Arsenal’s second-half control decided the match after the international break.
Why it matters
The win keeps the title race tight at the top while City prepare for a tense trip to Anfield under a financial cloud.
