Questions

Why not the popular background-removal package?

The @imgly/background-removal code is AGPL-3.0, which is not a permissive license. This site uses U²-Net lite (Apache-2.0) and ONNX Runtime Web (MIT) instead.

Can I reuse these tools?

The source of this site is yours to read in the project. Third-party libraries keep their own licenses, listed below.
