Will compressed text stay selectable?
No. Compress redraws each page as an image so the file can shrink. Use it when size matters more than copying text.
Can I open a password-protected PDF?
No. Remove the password in the app that created the file, then try again.
Which images can become a PDF?
PNG, JPEG, WebP, and GIF. WebP and GIF are drawn onto the page in the browser before they are placed.
