Is my photo uploaded?
No. The cutout model is part of this site and runs on your device. Your photo is not sent anywhere.
How good is the cutout?
It uses U²-Net lite, a small open model. Clear subjects work best. Fine hair and busy scenes can need the edge slider.
Which formats can I export?
PNG, JPEG, and WebP. PNG keeps transparency after a cutout. JPEG flattens transparency onto a color you choose.
Why is the first cutout slower?
The browser downloads the model and runtime once, about 16 MB, from this same site. Later cutouts reuse that download.
