How to use the World Clock

A world clock is the quickest way to see what time it is for family, teammates or clients in other countries. This page shows live local times for major cities on every continent, updated every second, with the weekday and UTC offset so you can tell at a glance whether it is morning, evening or the middle of the night there.

Tap Add city to include more places from a long list of IANA time zones, or remove a city you do not need. Your selection is saved in this browser so the same board comes back next visit. Daylight saving is applied automatically from your browser’s time zone data, so a summer gap between New York and London differs from a winter one without any extra setting.

Open Meeting hours to see a simple colour strip for the next twenty-four hours: green for typical working hours, amber for early or late, and grey for night. That makes it easier to pick a call that is not painful for someone. Pair this page with the time zone converter when you need an exact date and time, or with the meeting planner for a fuller side-by-side grid.

Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you add is sent to our servers. Updated October 2026.
