How to use the Festival Greeting Card Maker
Choose a festival from the list, grouped by community: Hindu, Sikh and Punjabi, Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, East Asian, Southeast Asian, Persian, Latin American, African and worldwide celebrations. Then pick a language: English plus fitting languages such as Hindi, Punjabi, Arabic, Urdu, Chinese, Spanish, Hebrew, Korean, Thai or Persian. Every design is simple, original artwork such as lamps, lanterns, a crescent moon, candles or flowers; we never draw deities, prophets or holy figures.
Type your name and it appears at the bottom of the card, for example “From Harman”, “Harman की ओर से” or “Harman ਵੱਲੋਂ”. Add a friend’s name to start the card with “Dear Priya,”. You can also replace the default wish with your own words of up to about four lines.
Tap Download to save a sharp 1080 × 1080 PNG that fits WhatsApp status, Instagram posts and family groups. On phones, Share on WhatsApp opens the share sheet with the image attached; on computers it opens WhatsApp with a link so friends can make their own card.
Worked example: choose Diwali, Hindi, name “Harman” and friend “Priya”. The card reads “दीपावली की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं”, then “प्रिय Priya,”, the wish about diyas and “Harman की ओर से”. Download it and send it before 8 November 2026, Diwali day this year.
Frequently asked questions
Is the greeting card maker free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark fee and no limit on how many cards you make.
Can I write in Hindi or Punjabi?
Yes. Pick Hindi or Punjabi for the built-in wishes, and you can type your own message in any language your keyboard supports.
Why does the Hindi text look wrong on my computer?
Your device needs a Hindi or Gurmukhi font. Phones have one built in; on older computers install a free Noto Sans Devanagari or Gurmukhi font.
What size is the downloaded image?
A square 1080 × 1080 pixel PNG, which looks sharp on WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook.
Is my name uploaded anywhere?
No. The card is drawn on your device. The share link only contains the festival and language, never your name.
