In brief

A Liaison Strategies IVR survey of 1,000 Toronto residents on 8-9 October 2026 finds Mayor Olivia Chow leading Brad Bradford 51% to 46% among decided and leaning voters, with 3% choosing someone else. Renters favoured Chow; homeowners favoured Bradford.

Ballot result

Liaison reported Chow 51%, Bradford 46% and someone else 3% among decided and leaning voters. Among all respondents, Chow had 42%, Bradford 38%, someone else 3% and 16% were undecided. The margin of error for the full sample was ±3.1 points, 19 times out of 20.

Housing split

Among decided and leaning renters, Chow led 57% to 40%. Among homeowners, Bradford led 50% to 45%, Liaison said.

Compare with Nanos

A separate Nanos survey for CP24/CTV (8-10 Oct) had Chow at about 51% and Bradford 47% among decided voters. Different methods and likely-voter screens mean the two polls should not be averaged casually. Voting Day is 26 October.
