How to play Hungry Hole
Hungry Hole is a swallow-the-city arcade game. You are a hole in the ground. Drag on the screen, or press the arrow keys or W A S D, and the hole slides around a toy town full of coins, cones, bins, crates, benches, cars, trees and houses.
Anything smaller than your hole falls in, scores points and makes the hole bigger. Bigger things only fit once you have grown. Swallow in quick bursts to build a combo up to times five.
Each level gives you 60 seconds and a goal, shown as a percentage bar. Eat enough of the city before time runs out to clear the level and unlock a bigger town. Small and medium items also add a little time.
- Press Play, then drag to steer the hole.
- Swallow the small things first: coins, cones, bins and crates.
- Once you have grown, go for cars, trees and houses.
- Reach the goal percentage before the 60-second timer ends to clear the level.
VSH take: sweep up all the small stuff in the middle first, because every bite makes you faster as well as bigger. Save the houses and towers for last.
