Frequently asked questions

Are these calculators official?

No. They are free estimates built from the rules published by each government. Only the immigration authority can decide your case. Always check the official site before you act.

Do you show cut-off scores or invitation round results?

No. Cut-offs change with every round and we do not guess them. Each tool links to the official page where results are published.

Why does the UK checker not show a points total?

GOV.UK no longer presents the Skilled Worker route as a points total on its public pages. The checker tests the four requirements instead: licensed sponsor, eligible job, salary and English.

Where do the rules come from?

From the official pages of IRCC (Canada), the Department of Home Affairs (Australia), Immigration New Zealand and GOV.UK. Each page lists its sources and the date it was last checked.

Is any of this legal or immigration advice?

No. For advice about your own situation, speak to a registered or regulated immigration professional.
