Is the song uploaded?
No. Decoding and the WAV export happen in this browser. The M4A button loads ffmpeg from this site and still does not upload the audio.
Will this work as an iPhone ringtone?
The M4A is AAC audio. iPhone ringtones usually need GarageBand or Finder as well. Android phones often accept the M4A directly.
How long can the file be?
Up to 40 MB. Very long recordings can make the tab slow.
What if the file will not open?
Try WAV, MP3, or M4A. Some less common codecs are missing in the browser decoder.
