Is my video uploaded?
No. The encoder runs in this browser. The first visit downloads about 32 MB of ffmpeg files from this same site.
Why is the GIF limit 6 seconds?
GIF frames are large in memory. A short loop finishes reliably. Longer videos can use the trim or smaller-file modes, up to 90 seconds.
Will the trim be lossless?
No. The cut is re-encoded so the start and end are accurate. A lossless snip is not what this page does.
Which license is the encoder?
The JavaScript loader is MIT. This ffmpeg build includes libx264 and is GPL-2.0-or-later. Details are on the credits page.
