Hindi of the day
One Devanagari word, four tries, two decoy tiles.
Free daily puzzle · Hindi and Punjabi
One Hindi word and one Punjabi word each day. Join the letter tiles before four tries run out.
01 — Story
Akshar Jod is a daily word puzzle with two tracks: Hindi and Punjabi in Gurmukhi. Everyone on the same local date sees the same words. They change at midnight on your device, not on a shared server clock.
You get an English clue, such as a kite or a festival, and a shuffled row of letter tiles. Two of those tiles are decoys that do not belong in the word. Tap tiles into the boxes, then press Check. Green means the right tile in the right place, yellow means the tile belongs somewhere else, and grey marks a decoy. Four tries is the whole budget.
A correct solve keeps a streak that lives only on this device. The share card is a grid of colored squares, so friends can play the same word without seeing the answer. Hint reveals the first tile and marks that you used it.
Pick Hindi or Punjabi, read the English clue, tap tiles in order, and press Check. Decoy tiles stay grey even if you place them in a box.
If the clue is kite and a try puts the last tile first, the colors tell you to swap. The solved word is the everyday spelling, not a trick.
