Lower the hook, wait for a bite, and reel before the line snaps.
01 — Story
Lake Fishing is a sunset minute. The clock starts on the first cast. Small fish cruise near the surface. Bigger ones sit deeper, including a rare golden carp near the bottom. An old boot is almost worthless, so do not spend the minute on it.
Hold anywhere, or hold Space or Down, to lower the hook. Release and it rises. When a fish bites, a reel bar appears. Hold to pull it toward the boat. The blue bar is progress. The other bar is tension. Bigger fish pull harder. If tension tops out, the line snaps and the fish is gone. Let go when the bar turns orange or red, then reel again.
Minnows are 3, perch 6, trout 10, pike 18, and the golden carp 40. Short taps keep the line calm. Deep fish pay for the walk down, but they eat the clock.
Hold to reel, release when tension climbs, and hold again once the bar cools. Do not pin the button the whole way up.
