01 — Story
The brief
Gem Tycoon is a 3D plot with one gem dropper and a belt. Gems ride into a purple collector and pile up as waiting cash. Walk onto the green Collect pad to move that cash into your wallet.
Buy pads appear in front of the works. They name the upgrade and the price, and they turn yellow when you can afford them. Walk onto the pad to buy. The list runs from extra droppers and richer gems to faster belts, polishers that double or triple value, an auto-collector, and a few decorations.
W A S D or the joystick walks, Space jumps, and a drag turns the camera. The factory keeps running with the menu open. Come back later and you receive half the usual rate for the time away, up to one hour. At $25,000 earned in a run, rebirth resets the plot and multiplies every gem by 1.5 for good. Further rebirths stack. Fastest times sit on a local board.
How to buy
Earn cash, collect it on the green pad, and step on a yellow pad. You do not tap a shop button.
