The brief
Hangman shows a secret word as blanks. A right letter fills every place it appears. A wrong letter adds a stroke to the drawing. Six misses complete it and end the round. Finish the word first and you win.
Pick animals, food, places, or technology. Tap a letter or press a key. Used letters go grey so a guess is never wasted. A new game, or a new category, deals another word.
Start with common letters: E, A, R, I, O, T, N. Vowels show the shape of the word. Longer words repeat letters and give you more information per hit. Endings such as -ing are worth testing once a few blanks are filled. Nothing is uploaded.
How to guess
One letter at a time. If it is in the word, every copy appears. If it is not, you spend one of six misses.
