Free reversi · flip the line
Trap a line of discs and they flip. Corners never flip back.
01 — Story
Reversi is played on an eight-by-eight board. You are dark. The computer is light. Four discs start in the center. Place a disc so that one or more enemy discs sit in a straight line, across, down, or diagonal, between your new disc and another of yours. Those trapped discs flip.
Dots mark every legal square. If you have no move you pass. The game ends when neither side can move, and the side with more discs wins. Arrows and Enter work after you click the board. Undo takes back your last move.
Easy, Normal, and Hard look further ahead and care more about key squares. A corner disc can never be flipped, which is why the squares beside a corner are dangerous: they often hand the corner over. Early on, fewer discs and more legal moves beat a greedy flip.
Play on a dotted square that closes a line. Every disc in that line changes color.
