01 — Story
Tic-tac-toe is a three-by-three grid. X and O take turns. Three in a row, column, or diagonal wins. A full grid with no line is a draw.
Against the unbeatable computer you are X and you move first. It searches every future, so a perfect game is a draw. The easy computer picks empty squares at random and can be beaten. Two-player mode shares one device. The scoreboard lasts until you reload.
A first move in the center or a corner leaves the most replies. If the other side takes the center, answer in a corner. A fork is one move that threatens two lines, because only one can be blocked. With perfect play the game is always a draw, which is why it is a small lesson in thinking ahead. Tab and Enter work as well as a tap.
Tap an empty square. You are X and you go first.
