Why we made this
Most of us end up searching the same questions during a big final: who won last time, how many titles does this team have, has anyone scored more? The answers are usually buried in huge pages full of footnotes. Here each page gives you a clear table first, then the stories that make the numbers interesting. Every list is updated to October 2026, including India’s third T20 World Cup, RCB’s second IPL title, Spain’s 2026 World Cup and the Knicks’ first NBA title in 53 years.
How we check the facts
We write every table ourselves and check it against official sources such as the ICC, FIFA, UEFA, the NBA, the NFL and the IOC, plus major news agencies. Where a record is still moving, for example an active player’s goal or century count, we say so and round the figure rather than give a number that will be out of date next week.
Watch it live
History is made every day. Follow matches as they happen on our live scores page, with cricket first, then football, NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, tennis and rugby.
