Super Bowl LX
Played in February 2026 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, Super Bowl LX ended Seattle Seahawks 29, New England Patriots 13. It was Seattle’s second title, and a rematch of their painful loss to New England in Super Bowl XLIX. The year before, the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Chiefs 40–22 in Super Bowl LIX and stopped Kansas City’s bid for three in a row.
Why Roman numerals?
The NFL started using Roman numerals with Super Bowl V because the season and the game fall in different calendar years. The only exception was Super Bowl 50 in 2016, which used normal numbers because “L” looked odd on its own.
